AVON — Three takeaways, three touchdowns.

The second quarter was exactly what Avon needed.

The Eagles intercepted a pair of A.J. Gucciardo passes and recovered a Josiah Pressley fumble, all in the second quarter, to turn a tight game into a rout, knocking off Holland Springfield 49-14 in a Division II, Region 6 quarterfinal at Joe Firment Stadium.
