AVON LAKE — Avon was only able to generate a little bit of offense Monday in its Southwestern Conference game at Avon Lake.

Luckily for the Eagles, a little offense goes a long way when Nate Brooks and Logan Allomong are on the mound.

Brooks and Allemong combined to strike out 10 while allowing just two hits in a 2-0 Avon win.

Avon (3-1, 1-0 in SWC) scored all of its runs in the third inning.

Shortstop Grant Mitchell led off the inning with a walk, Ryan Jones followed with a single and Tanner Egger drew another walk off Shoremen starter Ryan Shinko.
